The position is based in Fendi Korea in Seoul. Report to the Retail Director Korea. This role’s main responsibility is to accelerate and develop for brand business in Korea Market and Manage the retail network. Provide strategic directions to develop the business and enhance the Retail Operation and Organization. Ensure the right level of knowledge, Retail Operation on a day-to-day basis, through a creative and effective use of all resources. The Retail Manager will be accountable to ensure the right level of skills and commitment to manage at store and developing and growing business in Korea capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
Business Management & Development
- Monitor sales performance versus the budget/targets and take necessary actions accordingly
- Develop and implement commercial action plans to grow the business e.g. targeting clientele categories (local/foreign), incentive programs, slow movers etc.
- Monitor local trading environment and trends, including competition, tourism, consumer trends
- Provide inputs for OTB, liaise with merchandising team on buying and provide for product development
- Work closely with the Finance Department to provide input related to sales forecast requirements, financial requirements, etc., for budgeting and investment planning purposes.
- Develop the brand's business in Korea by identifying potential locations for new stores and providing analysis of potential markets / profitability
Retail & Store Operation
- Oversee day-to-day operation of the stores and solve unresolved operational issues
- Uphold excellent standards and consistency of customer service and keep senior management informed of issues, decisions and procedures change at store level that impact business significantly
- Coordinate the operating system to make the right circumstance for sales and provide necessary resources and support to stores
- Manage activities for the new store opening or relocation, ensuring the coordination among the different actors involved. e.g. Support architect, by onsite inspection, in space and stockroom design, controlling IT supply etc.
- Work with Store Managers to monitor staff roster and manpower planning and Inform store team on procedures and standards required and control the compliance with Company Policies
- Control the carrying out of administrative back-office activities through checks on retail points' back office and monitor all aspects of store operations including payroll, billing, reconciliation report submitted by Store-in-Charge
- Maintain operational standards and ensure company policies and practices are followed in the stores
- Propose layout adjustments as needed to ensure commercial efficiency and manage existing store network projects e.g. expansion, renovation, relocation, closure, etc.
- Participate in lease negotiations with landlords and identify potential locations for new stores: provide analysis of potential markets and profitability
People Management
Direct management of dedicated stores and communication vision, strategy and clear directions to retail staff
- Ensure adequate staffing through recruitment, rotation, mobility, training and development
- Motivate, drive, inform and actively coordinate retail teams and Monitor sales team performance
- Work closely with the Training Department to ensure proper training of sales staff and excellent customer service
Brand Image
- Actively promote the brand in the local market and propose and effectively implement local marketing, customer relation strategies to promote the brand's image
- Nurture relationship with business community and competition and work closely with the Marketing & Communication Department to provide input and implement local marketing projects
- Develop specific VIP activities like trunk shows and other brand loyalty building program in coordination with the Merchandising, CRM and Communication department
- Keep abreast of counterfeits activities in the market and provide regular feedback/information to the Anticounterfeiting Department

The position requires an individual who works well in changing environment, fast and dynamic.
- Minimum 10 years of retail experience. Fashion or luxury is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, people management and teamwork
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, good at prioritization.
- Availability to periodically travel to visit markets in scope.
- Significant track record in running a successful Retail Training
