Job responsibilities:

Overview:

The Merchandising Intern will assist the Merchandising team in the buying processes for all categories of the FENDI Americas business inclduing the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, and Canada markets. In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of day-to-day merchandising activities and gain market insight in the luxury sector. This experience will allow you to work in close partnership with Buyers and assist in buying activities, business analytics, and understand market needs.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in running weekly and monthly selling reports. Support on ad hoc reports as needed
• Analyze data to identify sales trends and store opportunities
• Recommend product consolidations to optimize selling across regions
• Create merchandising tools such as buy books, catalogues and product knowledge tools to support retail partners
• Conduct competitor analysis to highlight market trends and product needs
• Attend in-store product training during collection product launches
• Support during buying sessions; hindsight and ad-hoc analysis, data management
• Participate in intern activities as well as any other learning and experiential activities during the program
• Support the team with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
•    Must be available to work Monday-Friday: 9-6pm
•    Bachelor’s degree or previous internship experience in a related field preferred
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
•    Ability to multitask and prioritize numerous projects
•    Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Positive attitude and curious mindset
•    Strong knowledge and passion for luxury leather goods
