Position:

The Senior Finance Manager (FP&A) will act as a key member and business partner for the regional team. He/She will provide financial support, planning and insights to aid commercial decision making and strategic direction for both Regional and Headquarter.

 

Job responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Financial and Operational

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and ledger structure (P&L, B/S and Cash flow).
  • Business partner and drive action plans with managing director driving operational/profitability targets.
  • Responsible of Budgets & Forecasts process from initial framing to presentation to Headquarter
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis of actual result versus budget targets and prior year during closing.
  • Monthly management reporting package for local management, Fendi headquarters, including focus on retail KPIs, sales and margin analysis
  • Cost analysis (benchmarking, budgetary control, cost sharing)
  • Controlling and monitoring of financial reporting to ensure adherence to group guidelines
  • Support in preparation for Investment plan for new store (including follow up with HQ)
  • Support in Comparison and analysis for commercial terms of new projects
  • Support on review for seasonal buy of merchandise with Merchandising department
  • Prepare presentations and reports on various projects (inventory turn, e-commerce, etc.)
  • Analyze and monitor logistics flow costs to identify issues and opportunities
  • Financial analysis and response to queries as required to local management, Fendi headquarters
  • Collaborates with the Department heads and store managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Provide training in financial matters to new and existing staff as needed.

Internal Control & Compliance

  • In close collaboration with Internal control, participate and review Retail audits on yearly basis for each store and propose to Retail manager an Action Plan if necessary.
  • Ensure proper procedures are adhered to about cash, credit card (payment) processing, and store petty cash and sales float management

Projects

  • Act as Project leader for Boutique openings, buyback and new countries openings. Coordinate with all stakeholders to successfully conduct the projects (Brand, Finance, Logistics, IS&T, Tax and Legal)
  • Review of Legal contract mutually with Legal department, Landlord and Brand

Additional information:

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance & Management
  • MBA/CPA/ACCA qualification highly desirable
  • 10 year’s prior Management experience in the financial accounting/control area
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in luxury retail business will be an advantage
  • SEA experience will be an advantage
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to work effectively with different stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

This position may require travelling in the region.
