Mission
The position is based in Capannuccia (Firenze). The candidate will analyze the LG industrial processes, acquire knowledge on the project management tools, continuous improvement approach as well as improve analytical and communication skills. The Continuous Improvement Team is a staff department that works cross-functionally between the different Industrial departments, with a focus on the Internal Production, Raw Materials Warehouse and Cutting. The aim is reducing inefficiencies, increasing the production performances and creating new opportunities and business value.
Job responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities
- Promoting the culture of Continuous Improvements between all Industry areas.
- Making analyses and reports for evaluating the AS IS performance and the impact of the improvement actions carried out (TO BE);
- Creating specific visual dashboards to share the daily or monthly results;
- Taking forward the principle of escalation of problems (Daily Kaizen)
- Collaborate with all teams involved in the projects to retrieve the information, analyze the data and find together the best solutions;
- Process mapping and creation of functional documentation (procedures);
- Contribute to extend and maintain the 5S project to all production areas;
- To be a point of reference for deployment of needed LEAN knowledge including the deployment of LEAN tools, processes and mental models, i.e.; Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, etc.
- Risks and Action plan follow-up;
- Accomplishment of project objectives and completion of assigned tasks on schedule and within budget;
Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree/Master’s Degree in Management Engineer or in a related field is required;
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar roles is a plus;
- Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
- Ability to work successfully in a team, as well as independently;
- Good relational skills;
- Excellent communication skills, attention to details and high level of accuracy;
- Problem solving skills;
- Flexibility and pro-activity;
- Strong self-motivation;
