Position:

As Department Manager, you will cooperate with the Store Manager and Assistant

Store Manager in leading, coaching and motivating the store’s team while being

responsible for the daily operations.

 

While representing the FENDI DNA, craftmanship, quality of materials and creativity

throughout the market, you will be engaged in achieving your personal and team’s

targets, meeting the assigned KPIs and sales goals.

Job responsibilities:

Sales Management and Business Development

  • Monitor and achieve store performance by analyzing the various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), proposing and suggesting necessary recommendations/action plans to develop the business effectively.
  • Contribute to the store sales target
  • Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership to the team, support them with their own sales achievement, recruit new clients and client retention
  • Be an effective champion for the assigned product category/business pillar, being accountable for its corresponding performance, developing the appropriate strategies to drive the category effectively.
  • Be sensitive to competitors’ trading activities and give feedback to Store Manager
  • Ensure business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management, being a visible presence and support

Client Management

  • Support the team in building long term client relationship, leveraging all clienteling tools
  • Champion a client centric mindset within store team, ensuring highest level of client experience
  • Build a collaborative and supportive spirit within the team, ensuring Client Advisors work effectively with each other
  • Continuously seek to improve the in-store experience, proposing improvements to the client’s journey with the brand.
  • Work with client advisors on their client development plan, ensuring diligence in achieving the sales targets and advocating for the display of empathy and sensitivity to client’s needs.
  • Build and develop own client portfolio
  • Ensure business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management and effective client hosting

Team Management

  • Ensure client advisors deliver the Fendi Customer Journey to every client. Support them with consistent coaching, identifying their development and training needs, partner with Store Manager and Training Manager to tailor individual action plans
  • Be accountable for the Team members’ performance, supporting Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to assess their performance
  • Support to manage and motivate the team to drive business, creating a positive and harmonious environment and foster coloration between team members
  • Provide consistent and qualitative feedback to the team, directing the team to the correct behaviors, eliminating any blockages observed.
  • Execute in store training routine set by Store Manager

Store Operations

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Retail Management system to run reports, credits, returns, correct errors, etc.
  • Ensure all policies, standards and Fendi procedures are communicated and implemented
  • Support in the preparation of daily and weekly report
  • Ensure a safe store environment for customers and employees
  • Maintain a clean store environment and implement general housekeeping duties

Inventory Management

  • Ensure that merchandise is properly received, displayed, stored and maintained by team members
  • Assume opening/closing duties and Manager On Duty responsibilities as required
  • Accurately complete inventory receipt, including entry and reconciliation

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure visual merchandising is maintained according to guidelines, both in the window and in-store displays, in order to maximize sales and merchandise turn
  • Align periodically visual merchandising and sales performance
  • Work with Store Manager to coordinate installations of new window display

Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in retail/luxury industry with 2 years of supervisory capacity
• Result-driven, with demonstrated capacity to implement all needed initiatives and demonstrate commercial creativity to drive business in an unconventional manner if necessary
• Proficient in MS office, CRM and retail tools
• Building strong client relationships and delivering client-centric solutions
• Be an effectively advocate for self-improvement within the team
• Effective time, planning and task management, able to plan and prioritize work accordingly to ensure timely and optimal achievements of objectives.
• Be the owner of the business, holding self and team accountable to meet commitments, empowering team members to be consistently at their best.
• Be the subject matter expert on operational procedures, knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done
• Good communications skills and ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated track record in leading a team comprising team members of varying potential and backgrounds to work jointly to achieve the business objectives
