The Finance Manager oversees the statutory and tax matters of the four legal entities in the region. He/she is responsible for the financial reporting packages prepared by the accounting shared service center and acts as a business partner of the regional department’s heads in the procure-to-pay and record-to-report cycles. This role manages the full financial reporting cycle for the entities in scope, working in close contacts with the overseas accounting teams, in a shared service center environment. The position is responsible to drive processes such as general ledger review, accruals planning, procure to pay analysis, tax reporting, statutory audit, ensuring financial reporting package are submitted in the group consolidation tool.

The Finance Manager reports to the Finance Director SEAA.

Job responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:
• Fully responsible of corporate governance, statutory and tax matters, local tax obligations and GST filing
• Ensure all the financial information and accounting data are accurate and accounted for in the general ledger (SAP S4/HANA Environment)
• Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly actual reporting in the group consolidation tool (Sap Financial Consolidation)
• Responsible to update Lease contract information into group software for IFRS 16 management
• Maintain supervision of the A/P cycle managed by the accounting shared center
• Review and analyze cash positions and cash flow forecasts to ensure an optimal level of cash in each entity
• Support department heads with the Vendor on Boarding Process
• Support statutory audits, tax audit and month close activities and internal control matters.
• Support FP&A team with opex budget processes by cost center
• Ability to manage and ensure appropriate work processes are adopted, discipline in adhering to strict reporting timelines
• Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad hoc or otherwise as assigned

Additional information:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
• At least eight years of progressive working experience in a(retail, wholesale, consumer goods, F&B) group with proven management accounting expertise, with a minimum of three years at assistant manager level.
• Experience with complex integrated ERP deployments such as SAP, Oracle JD Edwards
• Demonstrable knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Articulate and able to engage and liaise with various seniority stakeholders within and outside
the company (i.e., department heads, colleagues, suppliers, auditors, bankers)
• Sharp analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
