This is an interface & strategic position based in Central Supply Chain Team in Rome.
The candidate will report to the WW Supply Chain, Logistic and Sustainability Director.
The selected candidate will have 4 direct reports and will be in contatct with:
- Top management
- Products & Merch
- Retail Companies
- Finance
- Industrial
- Logistic
- HQ Supply Chain teams
Job responsibilities:
SALES PLANNING
Responsible for the coordination of the WW Best Estimate & Open to Buy definition processes for all Product Categories.
- Worldwide Best Estimate Definition – By Zone / Category / Collection / Month
- Seasonal and Carry-Over OTB Calculation
- Buy vs OTB monitoring and sharing with all stakeholders
- Monthly Sales Target Definition
- Reconcile the plan with bottom-up forecast coming from Retail Companies, Finance and Demand Planning
- Work on Sales Planning projects implementation.
SUPPLY PLANNING
Lead S&OP process: Ensure best compromises between business needs & production capacity.
- Transmit the vision of Supply Chain and Company needs to Production for both Retail & Wholesale needs with a mid/long term time frame
- Production Capacity Definition
- Buying Sessions preparation: Retroplan – Preorders – drop feasibility preliminary analysis
- Special Orders (Press, Trunk Show, MTO etc.) deliveries planning and monitoring
- New collections deliveries planning and monitoring
- Reorders planning and monitoring
- Manage raw material with the target to reduce production lead time and be more reactive, both best seller items and new high potential ones
- Monitor global Production Leadtimes & identify areas for improvements.
LAUNCH PLANNING
Coordinate different departments to match & execute seasonal Launch plan.
- Follow the Launch strategies before buying session with Central Merchandising and Go to Market teams
- New collections drop feasibility analysis after buying session
- Events and New launches special orders planning and monitoring (e.g. Pop-Up)
- New launches status update and monitoring
- New launches priorities and allocation management.
Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Planning, Business Planning, OTB, Supply Planning
- Experience in Luxury/Fashion industry
- People Management
- University degree & additional education
- Excellent English & Italian
- Positive & great sense of service
- Common sense, pro-activity and excellent organization skills
- Business oriented.
