INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Art. 13 of consolidated Legislative Decree No. 196 dated June 30, 2003 (“Privacy Code”)
Any of your personal data contained in the curriculum vitae (“CV”) you have sent, together with any
data you will provide during the selection procedure, or which is received by third parties, where
permitted, shall be processed by Fendi S.r.l., Fendi Italia S.r.l. or Fendi Adele S.r.l., as independent
data controllers, each in reference to the specific position/job for which you have sent your CV.
Your personal data shall be processed for the sole purposes of selecting personnel, to exercise a right in court proceedings and fulfill obligations provided for by EU legislation, law and regulations. We shall process your personal data and any other sensitive data relating to your health, as well legal data, such as information on any measures related to your criminal record, pending charges, whether you are under investigation or accused only when obliged to do so by law (e.g. sensitive data as to whether you belong to legally protected classes, judicial data required by the applicable collective labor agreement). Any legal or sensitive data which are not necessary for the selection of personnel and are contained in your curriculum vitae or otherwise provided to the Company by you or third parties shall be immediately deleted and shall not be processed. Pursuant to articles 24 and 26 of the Privacy Code, your consent to the processing of data is not necessary because said data shall be processed only for the purpose of selecting personnel.
We process all data using electronic and manual means according to logics and procedures which are suited to the purposes specified above and in compliance with the Privacy Code, including aspects relating to security and confidentiality. Within the selection process we may check the information provided (e.g. academic and professional qualifications, references from former employers or from the current employer) for the sole purpose of selection. Your current employer shall only be contacted once your current employment has actually terminated, or earlier, subject to your express authorization.
It is necessary to provide your personal data for the purposes above, and any refusal to do so shall make prevent your participation in the selection.
If you provide information relating to third parties (such as references or former employers), you must ensure that such notification to the data controllers and the subsequent processing of thereof complies with the Privacy Code and the applicable regulations. This means, for example, that you may only provide such data after having informed the third parties concerned and obtained the consent of the latter, if required by the Privacy Code. You furthermore authorize the data controllers to contact said third parties to obtain references and to check the accuracy of the information received. Along the same lines, you must also authorize said third parties to provide such information to the data controllers.
Your data shall be stored at the head offices of the respective companies, both on paper and data storage media, for one year from the date on which it is last updated, at the request of the data controllers or yourself, or for one year from the date on which your CV is entered in our database. If, at any time, you believe there is no longer any reason to process your data, because it is no longer necessary or useful, you are requested to inform the data controllers of this in order for your data do be deleted immediately.
Your data may be accessed by the persons assigned for this purpose by the data controllers and by the respective persons-in-charge indicated below. You may ask the data controllers for an updated list of the persons-in-charge and other subjects to whom the data has been forwarded. Your data shall only be forwarded to third parties who perform services of a technical and organizational nature for the purposes specified above and to legitimate recipients, pursuant to the law.
You may, at any time, exercise the rights set forth in art. 7 of the Privacy Code, e.g. the right to obtain confirmation about the existence of your personal data, to check the contents, origin and/or accuracy, to ask for said data to be supplemented, updated, corrected, deleted, made anonymous, or blocked due to a breach of law, or oppose the processing of such data for legitimate reasons. Requests must be made to the data controllers or to the respective persons-in-charge at the addresses given below.
