FENDI is pleased to announce a Merchandising Internship Program. Reporting to the Merchandising Team, the selected applicant will be able to get some real-world exposure in the realms of merchandising.
This is a full-time internship program, ideally, lasting for a period of 6 months.
Job responsibilities:
1. Sales Analysis and Product Research

- Learn to use Power BI system in Fendi and to conduct sales reports for insights
- Conduct market research to understand current trends and consumer preferences on assigned category
- Research competitors’ merchandising strategies.
2. Stock & Inventory Management
-
- Participate in the process of store stock request fulfilment
- Manage stock rebalancing and coordination with Supply chain team on stock allocation
3. Product Assortment Planning

- Aid in the selection and assortment planning process by analyzing past sales and market trends
- Use Power BI reports to general meaningful insights on store performances to assist in assortment planning
4. Collection Launch Planning

- Assist in planning and coordinating in stock allocation by store for every collection launch
- Prepare collection launch documents such as product maps & pricing
5. WOF Events / MTO orders

- Prepare product assortment mapping & work with Supply Chain team on Cites followups
- Follow up on Leathergoods & Fur MTO Orders with HQ
6. Customer Insights

- Gather customer feedback and insights from Stores to help refine merchandising strategies.
- Conduct surveys or focus groups to understand customer preferences.
7. Collaboration with internal departments

- Work with CRM & VM team
8. Networking

- Build relationships with other departments and office team
Profile:
- Ideally, candidate should be an undergraduate / graduate pursuing a degree in a related discipline (e.g. Fashion buying, merchandising, business management etc)
- A good inquisitively towards finer details, able to perform some basic analysis and probe for variances / trends
- Good excel skillset with the ability to execute some formulas such as vlookup /pivot table and macros
- Good people skills, as this role involves interactions with various stakeholders within/across departments
- Ability to commit a full-time schedule over a period of 5-6 months.
